This is a draft prepared for review by a qualified lawyer before publication.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you may not do when using Replyvoo, including AI Closers, the inbox, broadcasts ("Blasts"), payment links, Juno and any connected channel. It forms part of our Terms of Service. "You" includes your team members and anyone using your workspace.
Replyvoo connects to platforms such as Telegram that we do not own. When you misuse Replyvoo, you put not only your own account at risk but also our platform connections and every other business that relies on them. We take this policy seriously.
1. General rules
You must:
- use Replyvoo only for lawful business purposes;
- follow all laws that apply to you and your customers, including consumer protection, advertising, data protection, anti-spam, financial services and gambling laws;
- follow the terms and policies of every platform you connect, for example the Telegram Terms of Service and Bot Platform rules, Telegram Business terms and, when launched, WhatsApp Business policies, Meta platform terms and TikTok terms;
- have a lawful basis, and any required consent, before messaging people or processing their personal data;
- tell people they are talking to an AI or automated system wherever the law or a platform requires it, and never claim an AI Closer is a human if someone sincerely asks.
2. Spam and unsolicited messages
You must not:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or use Blasts to message people who have not opted in or who have asked you to stop;
- buy, rent, scrape or harvest contact lists, usernames or phone numbers to message;
- add people to Telegram groups or channels without their permission;
- use misleading sender names, headers or opening lines to get people to read messages;
- ignore opt-out requests. When someone says "stop" or similar, you must stop messaging them.
3. Scams, fraud and deception
You must not use Replyvoo to:
- run scams, phishing, advance-fee fraud, fake giveaways, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or "money doubling" schemes;
- collect passwords, one-time codes, seed phrases, card details or banking credentials from people under false pretences;
- sell counterfeit, stolen or non-existent goods or services;
- post fake reviews, testimonials or screenshots of earnings or payouts;
- misrepresent prices, refund terms or what a customer is buying;
- use payment links to collect money for anything illegal or deceptive.
4. Impersonation
You must not:
- pretend to be another person, business, brand, government body or public figure;
- pretend to be Replyvoo, Zedapex, Telegram, Meta, TikTok or any payment provider, or suggest you are endorsed by them;
- use names, logos or profile pictures that you do not have the right to use;
- configure an AI Closer to claim to be a specific real person without that person's permission.
5. Financial products and promises of returns
Many Replyvoo customers work in trading, investment and similar markets. If you do:
- you must not promise, guarantee or imply profits, fixed returns, "risk-free" trading or income;
- you must not configure AI Closers to give personalised investment advice unless you are licensed to do so and follow all applicable rules;
- you must include risk warnings required by law or by the platform or broker you promote;
- you must not promote unregistered investment schemes, unlicensed brokers or products that are illegal where your customers live;
- you must follow advertising and affiliate rules set by regulators, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria, and by the brands you promote.
6. Gambling and betting
Gambling, betting, casino and similar content is allowed only where:
- it is legal in the countries where you and your customers are located;
- you, or the operator you promote, hold all required licences;
- you take reasonable steps to keep it away from people under 18 and people who have self-excluded;
- you follow responsible-gambling rules and do not suggest gambling is a way to make money or solve financial problems.
Unlicensed or illegal gambling is not allowed.
7. Adult, harmful and hateful content
You must not use Replyvoo to send, request or promote:
- sexual content involving minors, in any form. We will report this to the authorities;
- sexually explicit content, unless it is legal where you and your recipients are, the recipients are verified adults who asked for it, and the connected platform allows it;
- content that promotes violence, terrorism or violent extremism;
- hate speech or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or similar characteristics;
- content that encourages self-harm or suicide;
- illegal drugs, weapons, or other goods or services that are illegal to sell where you or your customers are.
8. Harassment and abuse
You must not:
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- keep messaging people who have asked you to stop;
- share anyone's private information without permission (doxxing);
- use aggressive or abusive debt collection tactics.
9. Privacy and data
You must not:
- upload or process personal data you have no right to use;
- process sensitive data, such as health, biometric or financial account data, without a lawful basis and any required consent;
- use Replyvoo to track or profile people in ways they would not reasonably expect or that the law prohibits;
- use AI Closers to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without appropriate human review.
10. Malware, hacking and security
You must not:
- send viruses, malware, ransomware or malicious links;
- try to access accounts, workspaces, data or systems you are not authorised to use;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of Replyvoo, except through a responsible disclosure process agreed with us in writing;
- try to bypass security, authentication, rate limits or plan limits;
- try to extract our system prompts, model settings or source code, or use "prompt injection" to make Juno or AI Closers act against our rules.
If you find a security issue, please report it to [email protected].
11. Platform and rate abuse
You must not:
- create multiple free (Spark) accounts or workspaces to get around limits;
- share one paid account across unrelated businesses to avoid paying;
- use scripts, bots or automation to overload the Service or the platforms connected to it;
- send message volumes that break the rate limits or anti-spam rules of the connected platform;
- resell or white-label Replyvoo without a written agreement with us;
- abuse coupons, free trials or the Voo Squad referral programme, including through self-referrals or fake accounts.
12. Intellectual property
You must not use Replyvoo to share content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, such as pirated software, courses, films or music. If you believe content sent through Replyvoo infringes your rights, contact [email protected].
13. Your responsibility for AI Closers
You are responsible for how you configure AI Closers and for every message they send. You should:
- write clear instructions that keep your AI Closers within this policy;
- review conversations regularly and fix any problems;
- set up human handover for complaints, sensitive topics and requests the AI cannot handle;
- keep your knowledge base accurate and up to date.
Saying "the AI said it, not me" is not a defence under this policy.
14. Monitoring and reporting
We do not routinely read your conversations. However, we may use automated systems and, where necessary, authorised staff to review content and activity to detect abuse, respond to reports, investigate suspected breaches, or comply with the law and platform requirements. We process this data as described in our Privacy Policy.
To report abuse involving a Replyvoo account, email [email protected] with as much detail as possible.
15. What happens if you break this policy
If we believe you have broken this policy, we may, depending on how serious the breach is and without refund where allowed by law:
- give you a warning and ask you to fix the issue;
- pause or remove specific AI Closers, Blasts, payment links or content;
- disconnect a channel or limit your sending volume;
- suspend or permanently close your account and any related accounts;
- cancel unpaid or pending referral commissions and coupons;
- report the activity to the affected platform, payment processors, or law enforcement.
We may act immediately and without notice where we believe there is a risk of harm, legal liability, or damage to our platform connections. Where reasonable, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to respond.
16. Changes
We may update this policy as laws, platforms and risks change. The "updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. If you have questions, contact [email protected].
